FROM SIMULATION TO SERIES PRODUCTION

ALL FROM A SINGLE SOURCE

The entire process chain for cold- and hot-forming is represented at our facilities. The procedures are coordinated across departments. Each department’s expertise impacts your project.

SIMULTANEOUS ENGINEERING / COMPONENT DEVELOPMENT

We run a simulation in close coordination with you to optimise the feasibility and process capability of your components.

FEASIBILITY STUDIES IN AUTOFORM

We compile a feasibility study for you based on the simulation of the forming process. We document the results and come up with geometry suggestions for your components. We factor in the cost situation, feasibility and productivity.

METHOD PLANNING

Our method reduces your assembly to the lowest possible number of tool operations. We can generate the 3D method plan, flowchart and die surfaces in both Catia V5 and Siemens NX.

DESIGN

During the design phase, we make optimal use of your production facilities and offer collision studies to ensure smooth operation.

MECHANICAL PROCESSING

We mill your tools on our milling machines using optimised procedures.

ASSEMBLY

After assembly, the tools are installed in our tryout presses. Drawing on years of experience, our tryout specialists spot-grind design edges (distinctive lines) on exterior body parts and then integrate the tools into the customer’s pressing plants, often at the customer’s premises.

PART QUALITY

Precision is essential when manufacturing body shells and structural parts from aluminium or steel if consistently high-quality components are to be produced. This expertise is particularly crucial when performing design tasks for exterior body parts.

START-UP

Start-up is the last step before series production and requires careful fine-tuning. Our start-up team is familiar with all kinds of production facilities and with the tools they install at your premises.

Training

For newcomers to hot-forming, we conduct training for your technical staff at our facilities or on your premises. You benefit most when the training is conducted on your own tools.

MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGY

Our class 3 measuring room follows your specifications to generate measurement reports for sample part discussions or internal correction loops. With our new GOM system we can measure components as large as a side wall. Our laboratory is fully equipped to test hot-formed sheet metal parts.

SHOP FLOOR MANAGEMENT

Thanks to the introduction of shop floor management, we have increased our productivity and significantly improved information flow and order processing.
